Solo Looper ("the app") is a simple audio looper for iPhone: you record a few seconds of sound, and it plays back in a loop. This policy explains, in plain terms, what data the app does and does not handle.
Data we collect
None. The app does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. There is no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, no crash-reporting service, no account, and no server the app talks to.
Microphone
The app asks for microphone access so it can record your playing. It listens only while you have started a recording with the big button, and never in the background. You can turn microphone access off at any time in Settings → Solo Looper.
Data stored on your device
Your recordings, their names, and your trim settings are stored only on your device, in the app's private storage. They are never uploaded or sent anywhere by the app. Deleting a recording in the app, or uninstalling the app, deletes them. As with other app data, they may be included in your own iPhone backups (iCloud or computer), which are handled by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy.
Audio in the background
A loop you are playing keeps playing when you lock the screen or switch to another app, so you can play along while reading a chord chart. This is playback only; the app does not record in the background.
Children's privacy
The app does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information from anyone.
Changes to this policy
If this app ever starts collecting data in a future update, this page will be updated first, and the change will be reflected in the app's "What's New" notes.
