• Left is the bike's strong side; right turns are weaker and slidier — use them only to correct.
• Turning breaks traction: hold too long and you'll drift onto the loose apron and lose speed.
• Hit the fence beyond the apron and you'll be stopped dead — steer back onto the track to get going again.
• 4 laps, 4 riders, 3-2-1-0 scoring. Beat the field.
